Vandana Arumugam
Faculty Member - Dance & Yoga
Vandana Arumugam is a Bharatanatyam performer, teacher, choreographer, and movement educator with over three decades of dedicated training and experience in the classical arts. As the founder of Taamara Rasa, she is committed to making Bharatanatyam training holistic, sustainable, and accessible through both traditional pedagogy and contemporary movement practices.
An internationally certified Yoga teacher, Vandana specializes in integrating Hatha Yoga, functional movement, and alignment-based training into Bharatanatyam education. Her work focuses on helping dancers improve technique, endurance, body awareness, injury prevention, and performance quality.
As Bharatanatyam and Yoga faculty at Anitha Guha’s Bharathanjali, she guides students in developing strong foundations, artistic maturity, and a deeper understanding of movement, enabling them to pursue excellence while maintaining long-term physical well-being.
