Sriyogitha Arun

Faculty Member - Bharathanjali

Sriyogitha Arun is a distinguished Bharatanatyam artiste, choreographer, and educator with several years of dedicated engagement in Indian classical arts. An alumna of the prestigious Kalakshetra Foundation, she further strengthened her artistic and academic foundation by completing a Master’s degree in Fine Arts (Dance) from Annamalai University.

For several years, Sriyogitha has been an integral part of Bharathanjali, working under the esteemed guidance of Guru Smt. Anitha Guha, a journey that reflects her deep commitment to the practice, preservation, and continued evolution of Bharatanatyam. Her tenure at Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan further underscores her strength as a teacher and her commitment to nurturing young talent with care and rigour.

As an educator, she has trained students across the world through both online and in-person platforms, guiding them towards excellence in prestigious performances and competitions organised by leading cultural institutions. Her choreographic insight and artistic versatility have also earned her consistent recognition, including consecutive honours at dance competitions.

Deeply inspired by Indian literature, temple traditions, and the wider landscape of classical movement vocabularies, Sriyogitha continues to enrich the artistic community through her performance, teaching, and choreography, bringing both substance and sensitivity to every aspect of her work.
