Saswatha Aishwarya

Saswatha Aishwarya is one of the senior-most disciples of Smt. Anitha Guha. Her journey with her guru is for over 25 years now . She has been an integral part of the institution's artistic and pedagogical journey. Since 2016, she has served as a faculty member at Anitha Guha's Bharathanjali, contributing significantly to the training and mentoring of students while assisting her guru in preparing students for Arangetrams, dance productions, and senior dancers for various stage performances.

Saswatha is particularly known for her excellent abhinayam , and strong command over histrionics and dramatics. Deeply inspired by her guru's distinctive approach to storytelling through dance, she has imbibed and carried forward these qualities in her own performances and teaching. In recognition of her excellence in this aspect , she has been specially appreciated and honoured by Guru during the institution's annual day celebrations.

She also underwent training in Nattuvangam, under Kalaimamani Kutralam M.Selvam and is certified in the same.

Over the years, she has been a part of numerous prestigious dance productions and thematic presentations choreographed by the Guru, gaining rich experience as both a performer and a mentor. Her artistic journey has been marked by several awards and accolades at various cultural forums and competitions. Most recently, she was honoured with the 'Best Bharathanatyam Teacher Award' by Priya Fine Arts and Nanganallur Sabha, in recognition of her dedication to nurturing the next generation of dancers.

Beyond the world of dance, Saswatha is also an accomplished Information Technology professional, successfully balancing a thriving career in the corporate sector with her lifelong commitment to Bharathanatyam. Through her teaching, performances, and mentorship, she continues to uphold the values of her guru and passes it on to the next generations.
